<br /> 9l <br /> - <br /> RESOLUTION 1996 - 102 R <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> APPROVING THE SALE OF TWO PARCELS <br /> OF LAND, A 1.50 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE <br /> T.J. CHAMBERS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 2 AND <br /> A 1.39 ACRE TRACT DESCRIBED AS LOT 1, <br /> BLOCK 45, WESTOVER ADDITION BY HAYS <br /> COUNTY, TRUSTEE TO LANCE AND SARAH <br /> LeDOUX; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> .- DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. Hays County, as trustee for all local taxing units, is the owner of two tracts of <br /> real property located with the city limits of the City of San Marcos, 1.50 acres located in <br /> the T.J. Chambers Survey, Abstract 2, and 1.39 acres described as Lot 1, Block 45 of <br /> Westover Addition, both being located adjacent to Hood Street. <br /> 2. Hays County has received an offer of $32,000 forthese two tracts, which is less <br /> than the appraised value of the property according to the Hays County Appraisal <br /> District. <br /> 3. The approval of the City is necessary before Hays County can sell the property <br /> for less than its appraised value. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The sale of this property by Hays County, Trustee to Lance L. And <br /> Sarah LeDoux for $32,000 is approved. <br /> PART 2. The Mayor, Billy G. Moore is authorized to execute the .deed for <br /> this sale on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br /> PART 3.
