In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br />of the City's 1995-96 budget. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1, That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-1996 Fiscal Year is <br />hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for the <br />Hunter Road Widening Project. . <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-1996, are hereby <br />approved and adopted, <br /> <br />SECTION 3, The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br />imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br />presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until ten (10) <br />days after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect <br />upon publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of July , 1996. <br /> <br />ß~ ~ . ~ <br />Billy G.
