San Marcos City Code, Chapter 86, Division 2, <br />Section 86.061 is amended by revising subdivisions (1 )a. and (7)a. of <br />subsection (b) to read as follows: <br /> <br />(b) (1) Landscape irrigation. <br /> <br />a. Existing landscapes. <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />1. Watering with sprinklers is permitted only <br />on the second and fourth Tuesdays of <br />each month for buildings and premises <br />with even-numbered addresses, and only <br />on the second and fourth Thursdays of <br />each month for buildings and premises <br />with odd-numbered addresses, and only <br />between 6:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. and 8:00 <br />p.m.-mìdnight on these days. <br /> <br />2. Watering with hand-held hoses, b~ckets <br />or drip irrigation systems is permitted <br />between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. any <br />day. <br /> <br />3. Irrigation with reused water is exempt <br />from reduction measures. <br /> <br />4. Watering of athletic playing fields is <br />prohibited except as permitted under a <br />separate athletic-field watering <br />management plan approved by the city <br />manager. The plan is to be kept on file at <br />the city secretary's office. <br /> <br />(7) Commercial and industrial uses. <br /> <br />¡ a. The non-commercial washing of automobiles, <br />I trucks, trailers, boats, airplanes and other mobile <br />- equipment is prohibited except on the immediate <br />premises of a commercial washing facility or a <br />commercial establishment that keeps these <br />vehicles as inventory. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or <br />paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court <br />of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this ordinance will continue <br />
