<br /> ~ 99 <br /> #", <br /> - <br /> AMENDMENT NO.4 TO SOLID <br /> WASTE COLLECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND BROWNING-FERRIS, INC. <br />The City of San Marcos, Texas (City) and Browning-Ferris, Inc. (BFI) agree to.amend the <br />solid waste collection agreement dated August 31 1992 as follows: <br />~ 1. The City and BFI have designated an area of the City's residential customers <br />along San Antonio and Martin Luther King Streets to participate in a 60 day trial period to <br />evaluate a possible change in residential solid waste collection. <br /> 2. BFI will deliver one 95 gallon plastic cart to each residential customer to be <br />used during the trial period. <br /> , , <br /> 3. BFI will collect waste once per week from the plastic carts at the normal <br />collection points for customers. BFI and the City will encourage customers to place all <br />waste in the carts. <br /> ¡ <br /> " <br /> 4. There will be no change in BF/'s usual per-customer collection rate during the t <br />trial period. . <br /> 5. The trial period will be from September 1 1996 through October 31, 1996. <br /> 6. Unless the trial period is extended by written agreement of the parties, BFI <br />will collect the plastic carts at the end of the trial period. <br /> 7. The City acknowledges that the plastic carts will remain the property of BFI <br />throughout the trial period. <br /> 8.
