ORDINANCE NO. 2003 - 46 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS REVISING AND UPDATING <br />CHAPTER 18, ARTICLE 3, FOOD SERVICE <br />ESTABLISHMENTS, OF THE CITY CODE; INCREASING <br />FEES AND SETTING NEW FEES FOR FOOD <br />ESTABLISHMENT PERMITS, INSPECTIONS, FOOD <br />HANDLER CARDS AND RELATED SERVICES; <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> I. The Envirorm~ental Health Department has recommended that the Food Service <br />Establislunents ordinance be updated to reflect changes in state laws, and to regulate vending <br />machines that carry potentially hazardous food products. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council wishes to implement the recommendations of the Environmental <br />Health Department. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1.
