<br />-.J <br /> <br />,~~~ ~ t;~ <br />¡¡,.¡¡:.. - ..::; æ 84 <br />~~ - t;]S; <br />:;,;,. \)C 5<= <br />U8 ,.......¡ L..L.I~ <br /> <br />ii:'~ ~ ~~ ORDINANCE NO. 1-99õ80 <br />;; U2:) <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE <br />1996-97 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE GREEN GUY <br />RECYCLING SERVICES CONTRACT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br />of the City's 1996-97 budget. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1996-97 Fiscal Year is amended <br />as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funds for the Green Guy Recycling <br />Services Contract. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1996-91, are approved and <br />adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br />imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br />presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 10 days <br />after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon <br />publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of November, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />~~2.~ <br />Billy G.
