In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, ¡ Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment '! of the City's 1995-96 budget. I ! BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, ; TEXAS: ! r SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year is amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide for end-of-year reconciliation of ¡ revenues and expenditures. ¡ 1 SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-96, are approved and adopted. : ! SECTION 3. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be I presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 10 days I after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City.
