However, in the event of conflict, dispute, or <br /> discrepancy between the provisions of this Agreement and the construction contract <br /> documents, the more restrictive and/or burdensome provisions will govern and control. <br /> ARTICLE 13 <br /> BASIS OF COMPENSATION <br /> The CITY will compensate the ARCHITECT, in accordance with Article 5, Payments <br /> to the ARCHITECT, and the other terms and conditions of this Agreement, as follows: <br /> 13.1 BASIC COMPENSATION <br /> 13.1.1 The total basic fee paid to ARCHITECT for Basic Services, as described in Sections <br /> 1.2 through 1.4 is a fixed fee amount of $43,100.00. This compensation is divided among <br /> the Basic Services phases as follows: <br /> Basic <br /> Services Expenses <br /> <br /> PHASE 1 - Preliminary Design: $11,700.00 $1,675.00 <br /> PHASE 2 - Final Design Development, . <br /> Construction Contract <br /> Documentation and Bidding: $14,000.00 $2,000.00 <br /> PHASE 3 - Construction Administration: $12.000.00 $1.725.00 <br /> <br /> TOTAL FEE: $37,700.00 $5,400.00 <br /> 13.2 COMPENSATION FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> 13.2.1 Compensation for additional services of the ARCHITECT, as described in Section <br /> 1.5, shall be computed based on the ARCHITECT's standard hourly rates: <br /> Principal: $105 <br /> Senior Architect: $70-85 <br /> Arch ¡tect: $55-65 <br /> Senior Technical Staff $50-60 <br /> Technical Staff $35-45 <br /> Administrative Support Staff: $35 <br /> The above listed costs include all salary costs, overhead and profit. ARCHITECT will <br /> submit a written estimate of fees for additional services and obtain CITY approval prior to <br /> initiating the work.
