There were no speakers. <br /> -- Mayor Moore introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption <br /> which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUA.J."TCE AND SALE OF CITY OF SA.J."T MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, WATERWORKS A.J."TD SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES <br /> 1996-B, IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AL"viOUNT OF $7,500,000; <br /> PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; PROVIDING FOR THE SECURITY <br /> FOR AND PAYMENT OF SAID BONDS; A \V ARDING THE SALE THEREOF; <br /> APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT; ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS <br /> RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; Ai"TD DECLARING AL"T EMERGENCY. <br /> Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Hart seconded the <br /> motion. Dan \Vegmiller, First Southwest Company, stated the City of San Marcos received a <br /> 4.275% interest rate for this issue and during the period of May-July the interest rate was 4.64%. <br /> He stated this was an excellent market for sale. t..-fr.
