Contractor shall ensure that the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Coundl injects Fifteen Thousand and Noli 00 ~Iars ($15,000) in cash and Seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty- three and Noli 00 Dollars ($7,253) of staff time to provide assistance to the Sponsor and incubator tenants. ._--- Contractor shall ensure that Southwest Texas Universñy injects Fifty-one Thousand Four Hundred and Noli 00 ~lars ($51,400) as follows: Fifteen Thousand and Noli 00 OoUars ($15,000) for use of facilities and equipment; Thirty Thousand and Noli 00 Dollars ($30,000) for faculty consulting time to incubator tenants and Sixty-four Hundred and Noli 00 ~Iars ($6,400) to provide for a student intern. Contractor shall ensure that Gary Job Corps provides administrative personnet valued at Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Eighty and Noli 00 DoUars ($14,580) to the incubator. Contractor shall ensure that the Small Business Development Center's contributes counselling services valued at Twenty-three Thousand Four Hundred and Noli 00 Do4lars ($23,400) to incubator tenants. Contractor shaJl ensure that one hundred sixty-seven (167) hours of legal and accounting assistance are provided to incubator tenants valued at a .minimum of Eightæn Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-five and Noli 00 Dollars ($18,395) based on an average hourly rate of One Hundred Ten and Noli 00 Dollars ($110). Contractor shall provide to Department, upon request, evidence that project funds, both private and contract, were expended as specified in this EXHIBIT A and in EXHIBIT B of this contract. EnQineerinQ Contractor shall utilize Twenty-six Thousand Four Hundred and Noli 00 ~Iars ($26,400) of contract funds to pay for all eligible project-related engineering and architectural services, induding preliminary and final design plans and specifications, all interim and final inspections, and all special services. Administration Contractor shall utilize Thirty-four Thousand and Noli 00 Dollars ($34,000) of contract funds to carry out project administration activities, induding the cost associated with the required program fiscaJ and compliance audit. Project Outcomes As a result of this project, Contractor shall ensure that the San Marcos IndustriaJ Foundation establishes and operates a small business incubator for a period of five years from the date of this contract. Further, Contractor shall eliminate slum and blight on a spot basis prior to the expiration date of this contract.
