<br /> ;;1{¡£ <br /> -6- <br /> and Foundation shall retain such records, and any supporting <br /> documentation, for the greater of three years from closeout of the <br /> Grant Contract or the period required by other applicable laws and <br /> regulations as described in the Regulations. <br /> B. The city and the Foundation agree to give the United states <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Inspector General, <br /> the General Accounting Office, the Auditor of the state of Texas, <br /> and Department, or any of their duly authorized representatives, <br /> access to and the right to examine all books, accounts, records, <br /> reports, files, and other papers, things, or property belonging to <br /> or in use by the City or the Foundation pertaining to this <br /> contract, including records concerning the past use of CDBG funds. <br /> Such rights to access shall continue as long as the records are <br /> retained by the city or the Foundation. The city and the <br /> Foundation agree to maintain such records in an accessible location <br /> ~ <br /> and to provide citizens reasonable access to such records <br /> consistent with the Texas Open Records Act. <br /> SECTION 8. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br /> A. The City and the Foundation agree to submit to Department such <br /> reports on the operation and performance of this contract as may be <br /> required by Department during the period of the Grant Contract, <br /> including but not limited to the reports specified in this Section <br /> 8. <br /> B. The city and the Foundation agree to submit to Department no <br /> later than the twentieth (20th) day of the month after the end of <br /> each calendar quarter of the period of the Grant Contract a <br /> Quarterly Progress Report, a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) <br /> Report, a Private Business Employment (PBE) Report, and a Quarterly <br /> Connection Report, if applicable. The Quarterly Progress Report <br /> shall identify the progress of all construction and nonconstruction <br /> activities by budget categories performed by or under each of them <br />
