<br />.: 36 <br />.. <br /> THE STATE OF TEXAS JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> THE COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> That the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasimunicipal corporation, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its President of the Board of Trustees and <br /> the City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and <br /> through its City Manager, enter into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the terms and provisions <br /> herein stated and pursuant to the terms of the Texas Election Code: to-wit: <br /> SECTION 1. School, and City hereby agree jointly to hold General and Special Election by <br /> the City, and the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District. Said joint election will be held at <br /> the various polling places and election precincts within the corporate limits of the City, and within the <br /> boundaries of the School District, as hereinafter designated, on the 6th dayofNfay, 1995, from the hours <br /> of7:oo a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at which joint election there shall be elected by the qualified voters of the City a <br /> . <br /> City Council Member for Place One and a City Council Member for Place Two, for terms of three years <br /> each, and by the qualified voters of the School District a Board of Trustee Member for Single Member <br /> District Four and a Board of Trustee Member for Single Member District Five, for terms of three years <br /> each. In the Special Election there shall be elected by the qualified voters of the School District a Board <br /> of Trustee Member for Single Member District Two for the unexpired term of one year. <br /> SECTION 2. That the election precincts for the City election shall be substantially the same <br /> precincts as those Hays County Election Precincts which are within the corporate limits of the City of &in <br /> Marcos, and for the School District election, all those Hays, Caldwell, and Guadalupe County Election <br /> Precincts which are within the boundaries of the School District. <br /> SECTION 3. That the polling places for each School District Single Member DiStrict, <br /> precinct, and entity for this election shall be as follows: <br /> SCHOOL DISTRICT SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICT 1: <br /> Precinct # Entitv Polling- Place <br /> 113 (portion) City/School San Marcús High School Cafeteria <br /> 1301 State Hwy. 123 <br />
