<br /> 41 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 53 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING RECIPROCAL AGREEMENTS <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND OTHER <br /> PARTICIPATING CITIES FOR LICENSING ELECTRICIANS; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THESE <br /> RECIPROCAL AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City of San Marcos reciprocates with <br /> various other Texas cities in the licensing of master and <br /> journeyman electricians. <br /> 2. It has been determined that many of these <br /> reciprocal' 'agreements were informally made without the <br /> benefit of a written agreement. <br /> 3. The City's Electrical Board has unanimously <br /> recommended approval of entering into written reciprocal <br /> agreements with those cities that had informal agreements. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF .THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That reciprocal agreements between the <br /> City of San Marcos and the cities of Austin, Round Rock, <br /> Cleburn, Marble Falls, Brownwood, San Antonio, Fort Worth, <br /> Dallas, Cedar Park, Port Lavaca, and Paris for the licensing <br /> of electricians, copies of which are attached to and <br /> incorporated in this Resolution for all intents and purposes, <br /> are approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City .Manager, Larry D. Gilley, <br /> is authorized to execute these reciprocal agreements for the <br /> licensing of electricians on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
