<br /> - - <br /> RECIPROCAL AGREEMENT 44 <br /> Recitals: <br /> 1. The City of San Marcos and the City of Cleburne require the testing and licensing <br /> of electricians before those persons are approved to do electrical work within the <br /> corporate limits of the respective city. <br /> 2. The City of San Marcos and the City of Cleburne issue electrical licenses under <br /> equally restrictive conditions. <br /> 3. The City of San Marcos and the City of Cleburne have similar p~ocesses for <br /> obtaining a reciprocal license. <br /> .~~~ - <br /> Agreement: <br /> 1. This Agreement is made and entered into on the 7th day of Mi'Jrr.h , <br /> 19 95 ,by and between the City of San Marcos, a Texas municipal corporation and the <br /> City of Cleburne, a Texas municipal corporation. <br /> 2. Master electricians and journeymen electricians tested and licensed in San Marcos <br /> may obtain a reciprocal license in Cleburne, and such electricians tested and licensed in <br /> Cleburne may obtain a reciprocal license in San Marcos as long as the standards and <br /> testing remain on an equally high level in both cities, and provided that each electrician <br /> wanting to acquire a reciprocal license does the following: <br /> a. Registers with the local Electrical Inspector prior to doirg any work; <br /> b. Submits a letter signed by the Electrical Inspector of the city in which the <br /> electrician is tested and licensed addressed to the Electrical Inspector of the <br /> city where the electrician wants to acquire a reciprocal license, showing that <br /> the electrician has been licensed through testing by the other city and holds <br /> a current valid license, and for master electricians, showing that the <br /> electrician has held a master electrician license for at least one year; <br /> ¡ c. Posts any required bond in the reciprocating city; and, <br /> I <br /> d. Pays all necessary license fees prior to commencing work on any job. <br /> 3. All applicants for reciprocal licenses must have obtained their license in the other <br /> jurisdiction through testing. Double-reciprocating is not allowed. <br /> 4. This agreement will renew automatically on the annual anniversary date unless <br /> terminated by either party. <br /> 5. Either party may terminate this agreement by mailing notice of termination to the <br /> other party, certified mail return receipt requested. Termination will occur 30 days after the <br /> day on which the notice is received.
