<br /> 64 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995 56R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> OPEN SPACE/FLOODPLAIN AND FLOATING <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL TO HIGH DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL FOR AN 11.305 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY' <br /> LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF RIVER ROAD AND <br /> STATE HIGHWAY 80 (1600 BLOCK OF RIVER ROAD) AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On February 14, 1995 the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br />the Master Plan from Open Space/Floodplain and Floating Neighborhood Commercial to <br />High Density Residential for an 11.305 acre tract of property located at the intersection of <br />River Road and State Highway 80 (1600 Block of River Road). <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commission did, on February <br />14, 1995, consider the request and voted to approve it and has recommended that the <br />request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 27th day of March , <br />1995, regarding the request. <br />4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. <br />5. The City Council finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br />resolution is in the interest of the public, health, ,morals, welfare and safety. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area <br />shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Open <br />Space/Floodplain and Floating Neighborhood Commercial shall be shown on that map as <br />High Density Residential: <br /> Street address: 1600 Block of River Road <br /> Size: 11.305 acres <br /> Legal description: See attached Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 361 J page 166 of the Deed Records of Hays <br /> County, Texas. <br />PART 2.
