<br /> ~t1c, <br /> direct all inquiries regarding the CITY's financial records to the <br /> C:I.TY I s representative. The AUDITOR will schedule all interviews with <br /> CITY staff through the CITY's representative. This requirement is not <br /> to be a restriction on the AUDITOR in complying with AICPA professional <br /> standards or requirements of government auditing standards issued by <br /> the United States General Accounting Office. <br /> 1.6 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> The services set forth hereinafter as Additional Services are not <br /> included as part of the services to be provided by the AUDITOR under <br /> Article 1. In the event that auditing services beyond those specified <br /> under Article 1 are necessary, the work will be performed as Additional <br /> Services. Additional Services will be provided only if authorized or <br /> confirmed in writing by the CITY, and compensation will be in addition <br /> to that specified for basic services, in accordance with Paragraph 4.1 <br /> of this Agreement. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> The CITY will: <br /> 2.1 Provide full information regarding the requirements of the <br /> Project. <br /> 2.2 Furnish all required information, documents and services and <br /> render responses and conduct its review of written material in the <br /> CITY's possession relating to this Agreement as ..expeditiously as <br /> possible. <br /> 2.3 Provide location and filing sequence of information contained <br /> in all permanent records. <br /> 2.4 Furnish legal counseling services pertinent to the annual <br /> audit as may be necessary for the duration of this Agreement. <br /> 2.5 Assist AUDITOR with the manual preparation of spreadsheets <br /> and related audit schedules. <br /> 2.6 Provide office space suitable for use by the AUDITOR in close <br /> proximity to the CITY's accounting records, and provide reasonable <br /> additional space as needed upon AUDITOR's request. <br /> 2.7 Bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> ARTICLE 3 <br /> REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES <br /> 3.1 Reimbursable expenses are to be charged to the CITY by the <br /> AUDITOR at actual cost and will include such things as expenses for <br /> transportation, office supplies, travel, communications, subsistence <br /> and lodging away from home, reproduction of documents and similar <br /> incidentals. <br /> -4- <br />
