&711 FIELD NOTES A parcel of land containing 15,386 square feet and partially occupied by an old concrete hangar s lab at the San Marcos Airport; this parcel lies wholly within that 1378.3381 acre San Marcos Airport tract out of the William Pettus Two League Grant, Caldwell County, Texas, as shown on that plat dated 12 September 1989 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor. This parcel is shown on a plat dated 7 April 1995 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor, and is more particularly described by metes and bounds in the following paragraphs. Each aluminum capped iron monument noted is a 5/8 .- inch diameter iron bar, 24 inches long, with a 2 inch diameter I aluminum cap marked J SAN MARCOS AIRPORT , 1995 CHARLES R. SWART SURVEYOR and with the point number shown on the plat and cited herein. Those caps at'point 1750 and 1752 are also marked "W. C." and with the offset distance to the point witnessed. Bearings are based on the center line bearing of State Highway No. 21 as shown on the right of way map of the Texas Highway Department dated March 1937, as the center line was found marked on the ground between stations 129 + 53 and 158 + 10. The point cited herein as the West Reference Mark (point 50) is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole near the west end of , the concrete parking ramp, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. The point cited herein as the East Reference Point (point 51) is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole in the concrete parking ramp opposite the east legs of the old control tower, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. From the West Reference Mark, the East Reference Mark bears South 89 degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of 1505.44 feet. Beginning at the northwest corner of this parcel (point 1747) which is identical with the northwest corner of the west ¡- door pier of the old hangar, from which the West Reference Point ! (point 50) bears North 00 degrees Ql minute 26 seconds East a distance of 89.84 feet and thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds West a distance of 393.11 feet. From point 1747 an aluminum capped iron witness monument (point 1752) bears North 89 degrees 58 minutes 25 seconds West a distance of 2.00 feet. Thence, from the point of beginning, South 89 degrees 58 minutes 25 seconds East along the north line of this parcel a distance of 149.08 feet to the northeast corner (point 1742) of this parcel, which is identical with the northeast corner, of the east door pier of the old hangar, and from which an aluminum capped iron monument (point 1750) bears South 89 degrees 58 minutes 25 seconds East a distance of 2.00 feet; thence South 00 degrees Ol minute 35 seconds West along the east line of this parcel a distance of 103.21 feet to the southeast corner (point 1748) of this parcel, which is marked with an aluminum capped iron monument; thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 25 seconds West along the south line of this parcel a distance of 149.08 feet to the southwest corner (point 1749) of this parcel, which is marked with an aluminum capped iron monument; thence North 00 degrees Ol minutes 35 seconds East along the west line of this parcel a distance of 103.21 feet to the point of beginning. ********** } I STATE OF TEXAS .
