<br /> /lc¡i3 <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> DESCRlPTION OF GOODS OR SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED: <br /> The District wishes to establish a program providing an incentive to conserve <br /> water by providing rebates for the retrofit (replacement) of older, less efficient <br /> toilet fixtures with ultra low-flow (ULF) fixtures. <br /> . . <br /> The District has determined that providing funds to the Contractor for the purpose <br /> of offering rebates to program participants reduces overall water consumption and <br /> is consistent with the District's mission of conserving and preserving the Edwards <br /> Aquifer. <br /> The District agrees to reimburse the Contractor up to $9,000.00 {or rebates of <br /> $50.00 for each retrofit of an existing toilet using 3.5 gallons per flush (gpf) or <br /> greater with one using 1.6 gpf or less (a ULF model). Each ULF model eligible <br /> for a rebate through this program must meet all applicable water conservation <br /> standards established in the most recent issue of American National Standards <br /> Institute (ANSI) Standard A112.19.2M. <br /> The Contractor agrees to (i) provide personnel to process applications, obtain <br /> copies of original purchase receipts, inspect and verify installations, and disburse <br /> rebates; (ii) pick up removed fixtures upon inspection and store on city property <br /> until said fixtures may be recycled or otheiwise disposed; (iii) provide the District <br /> with monthly written reports on the number of participants and rebates disbursed. <br /> District reserves the right to review copies of original purchase receipts. <br /> PROJECT COMPLETION SCHEDULE: <br /> Agreement is to be in effect from April 3, 1995 to September 30, 1995. <br /> REPORTS SCHEDULE: <br /> Contractor is to provide the District with monthly written reports on the number of <br /> participants and rebates disbursed. <br />
