In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment of the City's 1994-95 budget. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1994-1995 Fiscal Year is hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for settlement of the San Marcos Joint Venture v. City of San Marcos lawsuit. SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1994-1995, are hereby approved an~ adopted. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading March 27, 1995. PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading April 10, 1995.
