<br /> 75'# <br /> ARTICLE 1. <br /> THE PROJECT <br /> 1.01 The scope of the work covered by this Agreement (the <br /> IIprojectll) shall be the design and construction of Broadway <br /> Street located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas which is more <br /> fully described in the Project Manual pertaining to the <br /> ... <br /> Project dated April 21, 1995 and all plans prepared by the <br /> City pertaining to the construction of the Project Contract. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> 2.01 The parties hereto hereby designate and authorize the <br /> SMCISD to act as the Project Manager (II proj ect Managerll) for <br /> the construction of the Project. <br /> 2.02 The services to be provided by the Project Manager <br /> include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> (a) Preparing the Contract Documents ( II Contract <br /> Documentsll) for the construction of the Project which <br /> will include the plans, and specifications prepared by <br /> the City, general conditions, supplementary conditions, <br /> the construction contract and other documents believed <br /> appropriate by the Project Manager. <br /> (b) Soliciting and putting out for public, competitive <br /> bidding, the Contract Documents as required by and in <br /> accordance with prevailing statutes of the State of Texas <br /> and the Texas Education Code. <br /> -2- <br /> INTBRLOCAL AGRBBMENT FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS <br />
