On April 25, 1995, the Zoning Commission of the City of San Marcos held a <br /> public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "PD" Pre-Development <br /> District to "LI" Light Industrial District for property located at 222 Wonder World Drive. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission did, on April 25, 1995 consider and vote to approve the request, and has <br /> recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 12th day of <br /> June , 1995, regarding the request. { <br /> 4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br /> ordinance is in the inter.est of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 3 of <br /> the General Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended to rezone the following real property <br /> which is presently zoned "PO" Pre-Development District to "LI" Light Industrial District: <br /> Street address: 222 Wonder World Drive <br /> Size: 1.88 acres. <br /> Legal description: See attached Exhibit A. <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 1127, page 794, Hays County Deed Records. <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its <br /> passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular <br /> meeting following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. <br /> If reconsidered on June 26, 1995, it shall be in effect ten days from and after its <br /> passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered <br /> and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as <br /> required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12 day of June , 1995, subject to <br /> reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting scheduled for June 26" 1995. <br /> Reconsidered yes no x <br /> If yes approved <br /> denied <br /> date <br />
