ARTICLE VI <br />FORM OF THE BONDS <br />Section 6 O1 Form Generally <br />(a) The Bonds, mcludmg the Registration Bond of the Comptroller of Public Accounts ofthe State <br />of Texas, the Bond of the Paying Agent/Registrar, and the Assignment form to appear on each of the Bonds, <br />(r) shall be substantially m the form set forth m this Article, with such appropriate insertions, omissions, <br />substitutions, and other variations as are permitted or required by this Ordinance, and (ii) may have such <br />letters, numbers, or other marks of rdentificahon (including identifying numbers and letters of the Committee <br />on Uniform Securities Identification Procedures of the American Bankers Association) and such legends and <br />endorsements (including any reproduction of an opinion of counsel) thereon as, consistently herewith, maybe <br />determined by the Crty or by the officers executing such Bonds, as evidenced by their execution thereof. <br />(b) Any portion of the text of any Bonds may be set forth on the reverse side thereof, with an <br />appropriate reference thereto on the face of the Bonds <br />(c) The Bonds shall be printed, lithographed, or engraved, and may be produced by any <br />combination of these methods or produced m any other manner, all as determined by the officers executing such <br />Bonds, as evidenced by their execution thereof, except that the Initial Bond submitted to the Attorney General <br />of Texas, the definitive Bonds delivered to DTC and any temporary Bonds may be typewritten or photocopied <br />or otherwise produced. <br />Section 6 02 Form of Bonds <br />The form of Bonds, mcludmg the form of the Registration Bond of the Comptroller of Public Accounts <br />of the State of Texas, the form of Bond of the Paying Agent/Registrar and the form of Assignment appearing <br />on the Bonds, shall be substantially as follows <br />(a) [Form of Bond] <br />REGISTERED <br />No <br />United States of Amenca <br />State of Texas <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND <br />SERIES 2007 <br />REGISTERED <br /> <br />Interest Rate Maturity Date Original Issue Date CUSIP Number <br />June 15, 2007 <br />San Mazcos GO 2007 Ordinance 16 <br />
