ORDINANCE NO. 2007-36
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS,
<br />AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, GENERAL
<br />OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 2007; PROVIDING FOR THE SECURITY FOR AND PAYMENT
<br />OF SAID BONDS; PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; AWARDING THE SALE
<br />THEREOF; APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND A PURCHASE CONTRACT; AND
<br />ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT
<br />WHEREAS, general obligation bonds of the City of San Marcos, Texas (the "City") were duly and
<br />favorably voted, pursuant to the laws of the State of Texas, at an election held m the Crty on the date
<br />hereinafter set forth, and the following are among the purposes and principal amounts of the bonds which were
<br />authorized, together with the total principal amount previously issued pursuant to each voted authonzation,
<br />the principal amount therefrom being issued pursuant to this Ordinance, and the principal balance to remain
<br />unissued after the issuance of the bonds hereinafter authorized, to-wrt:

<br />WHEREAS, the Crty Council (the "City Council") of the Crty considers rt to be m the best interest
<br />of the Crty at this time to proceed with the issuance and sale of such general obligation bonds, as authorized
<br />by the laws of the State of Texas, including, particularly, Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 1331 052, and
<br />WHEREAS, it is officially found, determined and declared that the meeting at which this Ordinance
<br />has been adopted was open to the public and public notice of the date, hour, place and subject of said meeting,
<br />including this Ordinance, was given, all as required by the applicable provisions of Tex. Gov't Code Ann, ch.
<br />551, Now, Therefore
