• CERTIFICATE FOR ORDINANCE • I, the undersigned Interim City Clerk of the City of San Maz~cos, Texas, hereby certify as follows: 1. The City Council of said City convened in Regular Session on June 19, 2007, at the regular meeting place thereof, and the roll was called ofthe duly constituted officers and members of said City Council, to-wit: • Susan Clifford Narvaiz, Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor. Pro Tem Gaylord Bose, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Betsy Robertson, Councilmember ~ Chris Jones, Councihnember Pam Couch, Councilmember John Thomaides, Councilmember and all of said persons were present, except for the following: None ; thus constituting a quorum. Whereupon, among other business, the following was transacted at said meeting: ~ a written Ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND ~ SALE OF CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 2007; PROVIDING ~ FOR THE SECURITY FOR AND PAYMENT OF SAID BONDS; PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; AWARDING THE SALE THEREOF; APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND A PURCHASE CONTRACT; AND ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT was duly introduced for consideration and passage on first reading. It was then duly moved and seconded that • said Ordinance be passed on first reading; and, after due discussion, said motion, carrying with it the passage of said Ordinance, prevailed and carried by the following vote: AYES: 7 NOES: 0 ABSTENTIONS: 0 2. A true, full and correct copy of the aforesaid Ordinance passed at the meeting described in the above and foregoing pazagraph is attached to and follows this Certificate; said Ordinance has been duly recorded in the official minutes of said City Council; the above and foregoing paragraph is a true, full and correct excerpt from said minutes of said meeting pertaining to the passage of said Ordinances the persons named in the above and foregoing paragraph, at the time of said meeting and the passage of said Ordinance, were the duly chosen, qualified and acting officers and members of said City Council as indicated therein; each of said officers and members was duly and sufficiently notified off cially and personally in advance, of the time, place and purpose of the aforesaid meeting and that said Ordinance would be introduced and considered for passage at said meeting, and each of said officers and members consented in advance to the holding of said meeting for such purpose; and said meeting was open to the public, and public notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting was given, all as required by Tex.
