103 RESOLUTION 1995 - 123R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE SALE OF A 0.116 ACRE (5,056.23 SQUARE FOOT), MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF PROPERTY BEING A PORTION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 7 IN THE D.S. COMBS ADDITION (ALSO KNOWN AS LOT 2 OF FARM LOT 13) TO THE PENTECOSTAL TEMPLE CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST; . -- AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On May 22, 1995, the City Council approved the solicitation of bids for the sale of a parcel of real property identified as a 0.116 acre (5,056.23 square foot) more or less, being a portion of Lot 2, Block'7 in the D.S. Combs Addition (also known as Lot 2 of Farm Lot 13), located at 615 Centre Street in San Marcos, Texas. 2. The City has complied with the requirements of Section 272.001 of the Texas Local Government Code regarding the sale of property by a municipality. 3. On June 12, 1995 the City received a high bid of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED and no/100 Dollars ($1,200.00) for the sale of the property described above from the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1: That the sale of the parcel. of real property described above for ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED and 00/100 Dollars ($1,200.00) to Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ is hereby approved. PART 2: That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed coveying to Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ the property described above.
