107

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
! TO:
Mayor Kathy Morris and Members
of the City Council
FROM:
Sunset Advisory Commission
SUBJECT:
Sunset Commission Report
DATE:
June 6, 1995
~
Attached is the final report of the 1994-95 Sunset Advisory
Commission. This commission has held monthly meetings since
August 4, 1994. The following has been accomplished to fulfill
our responsibilities:
1. Initially questionnaire forms were sent to the
Chairperson of each board and commission. Each member
of a Board or Commission was to be given a questionnaire
form to be completed and returned in a stamped envelope
to the City Attorney's Office. Copies of questionnaire
responses are on file in the City Attorney's Office.
2. All ordinances establishing the Boards and Commissions
and the questionnaire responses were reviewed.
3. Each active board and commission was visited to clarify
information received on questionnaires, to observe
meetings, and to receive additional comments from the
entire membership. These visits were documented by
written reports on file in the City Attorney's Office.
The Sunset Advisory Commission was ably assisted by staff
members. We commend the City Council for establishing this review
and hope our findings and recommendations will be useful.
Respectfully submitted,
Q~£i~ c~,
~hn Anderson, Chalr
