PROVIDE FUNDING FOR ADDITIONAL STAFF IN THE <br />INFORMATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, the City C<?~ncil declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br />of the City's 1994-95 budget. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1994-1995 Fiscal Year is <br />hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for <br />additional staff in the Information Services Department. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1994-1995, are hereby <br />approved and adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br />imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances <br />. shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective <br />, until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, <br />and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper <br />of general circulation within the City as provided by the City Charter of the City of San <br />Marcos. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10 day of July, 1995: <br /> <br /> <br />l~Jì¡1. ~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: - A/ /). / ) <br />r~ fhu;v 5), v JY~¡1.¿uh <br />~ini;j K.
