UJ :2: <br />~~ <br />UJcn <br />C/J_ <br />>-0 <br />I-b <br />u(3 <br /> <br />28 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1995- 132R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br />USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br />HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR A 0.8 <br />ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1701 IH 35 ' <br />NORTH AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On June 13, 1995, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br />the Master Pla~ from High Density Residential to Commercial for a 0.8 acre tract of <br />property located at 1701 IH 35 North. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commission did, on June 13, <br />1995, consider the request and voted to approve it and has recommended that the request <br />be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the24thday of July , 1995, <br />regarding the request. <br /> <br />4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to .amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br />resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area <br />shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as High <br />Density Residential shall be shown on that map as Commercial: <br /> <br />Street address: <br /> <br />1701 IH 35 North. <br /> <br />Size: 0.8 acre. <br /> <br />Leoal description: Lot 1, H.T.S. 1 Subdivision <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 3, page 330, Hays County Plat Records. <br /> <br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br />passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 24 day of July <br /> <br />,1995. <br /> <br /> <br />Robert T.
