On June 13, 1995, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br />the Master Plan from Open Space/Floodplain to Industrial for a 0.48 acre tract of property <br />located at the intersection of Valley Street and Fredericksburg Street. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commission did, on June 13, <br />1995, consider the request and voted to approve it and has recommended that the request <br />be approved by the City Council of the City. ~ <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 24 day of July <br />regarding the request. <br /> <br />,1995, <br /> <br />4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br />resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: ' <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area <br />shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Open <br />Space/Floodplain shall be shown on that map as Industrial: <br /> <br />Street address: Intersection of Valley Street and Fredericksburg Street. <br /> <br />Size: 0.48 acre. <br /> <br />Legal description: See attached Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 1135, page 117, of Official Public Records of Hays <br />County. <br /> <br />PART 2.
