<br />47 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1995-143 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND SAM HOUSTON STATE <br />UNIVERSITY FOR COMPUTER SOFTWARE AND <br />EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAN MARCOS TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City wishes to execute an interlocaJ agreement with Sam Houston State <br />University for the provision of the CRIMES Law Enforcement Module Computer Software <br />and related equipment for the Police Department on a testing and ongoing basis. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the CRIMES Law Enforcement Module <br />License and Master Agreement attached to this Resolution betwe~n the City and Sam <br />Houston State University, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute this <br />Agreement on behalf of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PART 3.
