RESOLUTION 2012 -152R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS.) <br />TEXAS, AWARDING AN ANNUAL CONTRACT TO PRISTINE TEXAS <br />RIVERS, INC. FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF FLOATING VEGETATION AND <br />LITTER IN THE ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $48,798.10 <br />CONTINGENT UPON THE BIDDER'S TIMELY SUBMISSION OF <br />SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S BID <br />DOCUMENTS AND CONTINGENT UPON THE EDWARDS AQUIFER <br />AUTHORITY'S APPROVAL OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />CITY FOR AQUIFER HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN PROGRAM <br />FUNDING; APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SEPARATE <br />CONTINGENCY AMOUNT OF $12,199.52 TO BE USED IF NECESSARY TO <br />MEET THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CONSERVATION MEASURE; AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The award of an annual contract to Pristine Texas Rivers, Inc. located in <br />new Braunfels, Texas for the Management of Floating Vegetation and Litter (IFB #212 -166) in <br />the estimated annual amount of $48,798.10 is approved contingent upon the bidder's timely <br />submission of sufficient insurance in accordance with the City's bid documents and the Edwards <br />Aquifer Authority's approval of an interlocal agreement with the City for Aquifer Habitat <br />Conservation Plan Program Funding. <br />PART 2. Approving the establishment of a separate contingency amount of <br />$12,199.52 to be used if necessary to meet the objective of the conservation measure. <br />PART 3. The Purchasing Manager is authorized to execute appropriate purchasing <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
