<br /> .60 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995 - .." <br /> 1 4hR <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE SALE OF THE <br /> OLD PUBLIC LIBRARY SITE, BLOCK 27 OF THE <br /> ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS, TO NELSON CAYTON; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br /> DEED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />- RECITALS: <br /> 1. On May 8, 1995, the City Council approved the solicitation of <br /> bids for the sale of the Old Public Library Site, a parcel of real <br /> property identified as Block Twenty-Seven (27) of the Original <br /> Town of San Marcos, San Marcos, Texas. <br /> 2. The City has complied with the requirements of Section <br /> 272.001 of the Texas Local Government Code regarding the sale of <br /> property by' a municipality. <br /> 3. On July 10, 1995 the City received a high bid of $277,777.77 <br /> for the sale of the property described above from Nelson Cayton. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> i <br /> PART 1: That the sale of the parcel of real property <br /> described above for $277,777.77 to Nelson Cayton is hereby <br /> approved. <br /> PART 2: That the City Manager, Larry D.
