<br /> 77 <br /> . <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- l52R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> COMMERCIAL TO INDUSTRIAL FOR A 2.76 ACRE TRACT, <br /> OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2525 INTERSTATE HIGHWAY <br /> 35 SOUTH AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On July 11, 1995, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br /> Marcos held a pl,Jblic hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br /> the Master Plan from Commercial to Industrial for a 2.76 acre tract of property located <br /> at 2525 Interstate Highway 35 South. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commission did, on July 11, <br /> 1995, consider the request and voted to approve it and have recommended that the <br /> request be approved by the City Council of the City. ~ <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 28thday of August, 1995, <br /> regarding the request. <br /> 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br /> resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area <br /> shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as <br /> Commercial shall be shown on that map as Industrial: <br /> Street address: 2525 Interstate Highway 35 South. <br /> <br /> Size: 2.76 acres. <br /> Legal description: Lot 14A Municipal Airport Subdivision. <br /> <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 4, page 196, Hays County Deed Records. <br /> PART 2.
