ATTACHMENT "A" <br />CHAPTER 735 - FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION <br />Sub - Chapter 5 - Provisions for Flood Hazard Reduction <br />§5.03. Standards for Subdivision Proposals <br />(A) All subdivision proposals including the placement of manufactured home parks and <br />subdivisions shall be consistent with this Chapter, and shall be approved by the County <br />Floodplain Administrator prior to issuance of the Development Authorization by the County. <br />Plat specifications and details for submission will be governed by Chapter 705 and other <br />applicable provisions of these Regulations. <br />(B) All proposals for the development of subdivisions including the placement of <br />manufactured home parks and subdivisions shall meet the requirements this Chapter. <br />(C) Base flood elevation data shall be generated for subdivision proposals and other proposed <br />development including the placement of manufactured home parks and subdivisions which is are <br />greater than 50 lots or 5 acres, whichever is lesser, if not otherwise provided pursuant to this <br />Chapter. <br />(D) All subdivision plats shall have the Floodplain and Floodway clearly delineated on the <br />plat and, where appropriate, shall have the lowest floor elevations for all lots located within <br />Flood Hazard Areas. <br />(E) All subdivision Applications including the placement of manufactured home parks and <br />subdivisions shall include provisions for adequate drainage as required under Chapter 725, to <br />reduce exposure to flood hazards. <br />(F) All subdivision Applications including the placement of manufactured home parks and <br />subdivisions shall have public utilities and facilities such as sewer, gas, electrical and water <br />systems located and constructed to minimize or eliminate flood damage. <br />(G) All subdivision Applications which include land which is encroached by areas of special <br />flood hazard, must include the placement of a permanent benchmark indicating the elevation <br />relative to mean sea level. The benchmark must be located within the platted property, and must <br />be indicated on the subdivision plat. <br />
