TO en.... <br />'j£:~ §Ê ORDINANCE 1995- 54 <br />, <br />,...,~ ~ ~-S' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />.~g' &"- t§j MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING EXHIBIT B TO SECTION 30-35 OF <br />¡if' ~ ,-.~ f:5 lä THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO INCREASE <br />¡=~ ~ ~~ SEWER RATES; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND <br />~~t :_- ~.: DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That Exhibit B to Section 30-35 of the San Marcos Code of <br />Ordinances is amended to read as shown on the Exhibit B which is attached to and made <br />a part of this ordinance for all purposes. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this <br />ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the <br />remaining provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect as if the unconstitutional or <br />invalid portion had not been adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. . <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and <br />an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the Charter requiring that <br />ordinances shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall <br />become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final <br />passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance <br />shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its <br />publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, and shall apply to all billings mailed on and after October <br />1, 1995. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 11th day of <br />September 1995. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Robert T.
