<br /> 105 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 158 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS NOMINATING CANDIDATES AND SEEKING THE <br /> RECOMMENDATION BY THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE FOR <br /> APPOINTMENT TO NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES COMMITTEES, AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />~ RECITALS: <br /> It is in the interest and welfare of the citizens of the City of San Marcos, Texas to <br /> have direct representation before the National League of Cities through the membership <br /> by City Council Members(s) on various committees of the National League of Cities. <br /> BE IT RE.S.OLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following City Council Members are hereby nominated as <br /> candidates for appointment to the following respective committees of the National League <br /> of Cities: <br /> Candidate Committee . <br /> Joe B. Cox, Jr. Energy, Environment and Natural <br /> Resources Co Steering <br /> Billy G. Moore Community and Economic <br /> Development - Steering <br />t Robert T. Mooney Human Development - Steering <br /> PART 2. That the recommendation of the above-named candidates by the <br /> Texas Municipal League for appointment to various National League of Cities committees <br /> is hereby sought. <br /> PART 3.
