Pledges of Allegiance - United States and Texas <br />Joseph Nino, 5`h grade student, at Hernandez Elementary led the pledges <br />6. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br />Charles Soechting, 107 Oak Shadow, addressed the Council regarding Lazy Oaks Ranch <br />Development Agreement and stated his concerns about the developer. <br />Suzanne Putegnat, 821 Hillyer, addressed the Council regarding Lazy Oaks Development <br />Agreement and stated her concerns regarding developing over the recharge zone on that <br />property. She asked the Council to wait to make this decision. <br />John Gilliland, 615 Pioneer Trail, addressed the Council regarding Lazy Oaks Development <br />Agreement and urged the Council to not approve this agreement. He believes that this is a bad <br />plan. <br />Jaimy Breihan, 134 E Hillcrest, addressed the Council regarding the PDD process only having a <br />public hearing and then it going behind closed doors with Staff. He would like to see the public <br />get a little more opportunity in the process. Feels that this is a transient process that alienates the <br />citizens. <br />Jeff Sargent, 106 Oak Shadow, addressed the Council regarding Lazy Oaks Ranch Development <br />Agreement. He provided some statistics to support his reason why the plan for this development <br />over the recharge zone is not a good idea. <br />Nick Icossipentaritos, PO Box 1.788, provided written comments. <br />Mike Kleinman, PO Box 13546 Austin, TX 78711, founder of Planet K, addressed the Council <br />regarding the petition and holding an election and stated that he would like to have a dialogue <br />with the Council. <br />Ruben Becerra, 328 LBJ Dr, addressed the Council regarding the project along LBJ and that the <br />construction is hurting his business. He remarked about the sign variance request that he has <br />going through P &Z at this time. <br />Kevin Carswell, 132 Country Lane, addressed the Council regarding development west of San <br />Marcos particularly Lazy Oaks Ranch and urged the Council to keep the 20% that is <br />recommended by TCEQ. He stated that one thing that we lack is a "top up home" or a second <br />home for home buyers. Sometimes people can't find that here, and they go North or South.
