!I,A- preliminary design, and cost estimate; (6) perform internal review of report and finalize; and (7) submit preliminary engineering report to the CITY for review and approval. 1.2.3 The ENGINEER will assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representative, the ENGINEER, Southwest Texas Aviation's representativ~ and a firm representative from each major consulting discipline. The ENGINEER will meet with the Project team representatives to set the design and production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the components within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the ENGINEER will prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement of all project participants. The ENGINEER will conduct weekly progress meetings between the Project team and the Contractor. 1.3 PHASE 2 - DESIGN DEVELOPMENT, CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION AND BIDDING 1.3.1 Design Development Based on the CITY's approval of the scope of work and the schematic design documents prepared under Subsection 1.2.2 of this Agreement, the ENGINEER will prepare, for review and approval by the CITY, final design drawings, and other documents for the Project which will include site plans; floor plans; building elevations; structural system plans; mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting system layouts as needed; utility connection plans; and drainage plans. The ENGINEER will also prepare outline specifications which define all material types and finishes to be used. The ENGINEER will design all improvements in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") Accessibility Guidelines. 1.3.2 The ENGINEER will revise the written opinions of probable construction cost and submit a final Project cost estimate prior to bidding of the Project. 1.3.3 The ENGINEER will perform additional soils investigation as required at no additional cost to CITY. 1.3.4 Construction Contract Documents Based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by the CITY in the scope, quality or budget of the Project, the ENGINEER will prepare construction contract documents using forms supplied by the CITY. These contract documents will include detailed plans and technical specifications required for the Project to be accurately bid and efficiently constructed.
