The' <br /> Chamber shall ensure that the Hispanic Chamber accomplishes this mission through the <br /> following activities under the contract: <br /> ..-. <br /> l 1. Coordinate support services for established businesses, such as counseling, <br /> , <br /> seminars and assistance, <br /> 2. Assist in marketing the City of San Marcos in local, national and international <br /> Hispanic markets. <br /> . <br /> 3. Màiritain a full-time staff to assist in the coordination of activities for EDC and <br /> to assist in working prospects. <br /> 4. Utilize the Texas Business Center and the Internet to provide lead <br /> opportunities on employment and contracting. <br /> The contract will provide for the Chamber to pay $7,500 to the Hispanic Chamber on <br /> November 3, 1995, and $7,500 on May 3, 1996, <br /> F. Chamber shall not assign any interest in this Agreement nor delegate the <br /> performance of any of its duties without the prior written consent of City and EDC. <br /> IV, <br /> OBLIGATIONS OF :rHE CITY <br /> A. The City shall pay to the EDC and the Chamber, jointly, the sum of $115,000 in <br /> installments of $32,500 each on October 31, 1995 and April 29, 1996, and $25,000 each <br /> on January 31,1996 and July 31,1996. <br /> B. Prior to any continuation or renewal of this Agreement, the City shall have the <br /> right to conduct a performance audit of EDC and Chamber activity under this Agreement. <br />
