(5'"5F -7- mission under the contract serving as a connection to local, national and international Hispanic markets to stimulate economic development in the City of San Marcos. The' Chamber shall ensure that the Hispanic Chamber accomplishes this mission through the following activities under the contract: ..-. l 1. Coordinate support services for established businesses, such as counseling, , seminars and assistance, 2. Assist in marketing the City of San Marcos in local, national and international Hispanic markets. . 3. Màiritain a full-time staff to assist in the coordination of activities for EDC and to assist in working prospects. 4. Utilize the Texas Business Center and the Internet to provide lead opportunities on employment and contracting. The contract will provide for the Chamber to pay $7,500 to the Hispanic Chamber on November 3, 1995, and $7,500 on May 3, 1996, F. Chamber shall not assign any interest in this Agreement nor delegate the performance of any of its duties without the prior written consent of City and EDC. IV, OBLIGATIONS OF :rHE CITY A. The City shall pay to the EDC and the Chamber, jointly, the sum of $115,000 in installments of $32,500 each on October 31, 1995 and April 29, 1996, and $25,000 each on January 31,1996 and July 31,1996. B. Prior to any continuation or renewal of this Agreement, the City shall have the right to conduct a performance audit of EDC and Chamber activity under this Agreement.
