<br /> 11 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 17 SR <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF <br /> THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM INDUSTRIAL TO <br /> COMMERCIAL FOR A 0.78 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 2050 I.H. 35 SOUTH AND DECLARING AN <br /> --- EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> i <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On September 12, 1995, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of <br /> San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map <br /> of the Master PI~n.from Industrial to Commercial for a 0.78 acre tract of property located <br /> at 2050 I.H. 35 South. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commission did, on <br /> September 12, 1995, consider the request and voted to approve it and has recommended <br /> that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 9th day or October ,1995, <br /> regarding the request. <br /> 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br /> resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. <br />1 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br />, <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area <br /> shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as <br /> Industrial shall be shown on that map as Commercial: <br /> Street address: 2050 I.H. 35 South. <br /> Size: 0.78 acre. <br /> Legal description: A portion of Lot 16, AF. Weatherford Subdivision, a metes and <br /> bounds description of which is attached as Exhibit A <br /> PART 2.
