<br /> 19 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995 - 17 9R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />-- APPROVING THE SALE OF LOTS 4, 5, 6, 7, <br />j 8, AND 9 OF BLOCK 8, VICTORY GARDENS, <br /> FIRST ADDITION TO HABITAT FOR <br /> HUMANITY SAN MARCOS AREA; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE A DEED; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: - - <br /> 1. On September 11, 1995, the City Council approved the solicitation of bids for the <br /> sale of a parcel of real property identified as Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of Block 8, Victory <br /> Gardens First Addition, located at in the 300 block of Armstrong Street in San Marcos, <br /> Texas. <br /> . <br /> 2. The City has complied with the requirements of Section 272.001 of the Texas <br /> Local Government Code regarding the sale of property by a municipality. <br /> 3. On September 29, 1995, the City received a high bid of $9,005.80 for the sale of <br /> the property described above from Habitat for Humanity San Marcos Area. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1: That the sale of the parcel of real property described above for <br /> $ 9,005.80 to Habitat for Humanity San Marcos Area is approved. <br /> PART 2: That the City Manager, Larry D.
