<br /> 21 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 180 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE SALE OF A 61.23 ACRE <br /> TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE HAYS <br /> COUNTY CIVIC CENTER BY HAYS COUNTY, TRUSTEE; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />~ RECITALS: <br /> 1. Hays County, as trustee for all local taxing units, is the owner of the 61.23 <br /> acre tract of property described on the attached Exhibit A, located adjacent to the Hays <br /> County Civic Center; through a sheriff's sale of the property for unpaid taxes. <br /> 2. H~ys County has received an offer of $11 0,000 for this property, which is less <br /> than the amount of taxes owed on the property, but approximates the appraised value of <br /> the property, $119,000, according to the Hays County Appraisal District. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> . <br /> PART'I. That the sale of this property by Hays County, Trustee to Central Texas <br /> Residential Mortgage, J.V. for $110,000 is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M. Morris, is authorized to execute a deed for this <br /> sale on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br /> PART 3.
