On September 26, 1995, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br /> Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "R-1" Single- <br /> Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to "DP-1" Two Family Dwelling District (Low Density) <br /> for a 0.342 acre tract of property located at 1 011 Bluebonnet Drive. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission did, on September 26, 1995 consider and vote to approve the request, and <br /> has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> . <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 13th day of <br /> November , 1995, regarding the request. <br /> <br /> 4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br /> ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 3 of <br /> the General Zoning Ordinance is amended to rezone the following real property which is <br /> presently zoned "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to "DP-1" Two Family <br /> Dwelling District (Low Density): <br /> Street address: 1 011 Bluebonnet Drive. <br /> Size: 0.342 acre. <br /> Legal description: Lot 4-A, Block 2, Forest Hills Subdivision. <br /> <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 6, page 76, Hays County Plat Records. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its <br /> passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular <br /> meeting following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. <br /> If reconsidered on November 27, 1995 it shall be in effect ten days from and after its <br /> passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered <br /> and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as <br /> required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13 day of November ,1995, <br /> subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting scheduled for <br /> November 27, 1995 <br /> Reconsidered yes no x <br />
