<br /> 97 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995 - 207R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> APPROVING THE SALE OF AN EASEMENT <br /> TO CENTURY TELEPHONE OF SAN <br /> MARCOS FOR A REMOTE SWITCHING <br /> SHELTER WITHIN THE HILLTOP POWER <br /> SUB-STATION ON RAMSAY STREET; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THE EASEMENT BEHALF OF THE <br /> CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City is the owner of 2.959 acre tract of land located adjacent to Ramsay <br />Street, which contains the Hilltop electrical power sub-station, and was conveyed to the <br />City by the Lower Colorado River Authority. i <br />2. Century Telephone Company has requested an easement to place a remote <br />switching shelter within the City's property located at the Hilltop power sub-station. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> PART 1: That the conveyance of the easement to Century Telephone of San <br />Marcos, Inc. for $2,962.08 is approved. . <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D.
