<br />,~ <br />;,~, ~ :::::::~ 116 <br />"'""~ <:r ~ ;.t' <br />ill.if -:. ,.,...,~, <br />¡ ..~ 5.:=;' <br />:: N\.-- \-'¿ ~ <br />-'-.J, "- <br /> <br />ît ~) '"~ Ë.; ORDINANCE NO. 1995 - 73 <br />'~.. ~;¡;;): - <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE <br />1995-96 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR CITY <br />PARTICIPATION IN THE TEXAS HIGHWAY SAFETY PROGRAM AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, <br /> <br />- RECITALS: <br /> <br />-' 1. In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br />of the City's 1995-96 budget. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year is hereby <br />amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for City <br />participation in the Texas Highway Safety Program, <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-96, are hereby approved <br />and adopted, <br /> <br />SECTION 3, That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br />imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances <br />shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become <br />effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be <br />suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take <br />effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its publication in <br />a newspaper of general circulation within the City as provided by the City Charter of the <br />City of San Marcos, <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of December, 1995, <br /> <br /> <br />Vt\l~ <br /> <br />Kathy M, Mo is <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attestrt'M :.
