<br /> 12ft <br /> RESOLUTION POSTPONING ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION <br /> WHEREAS, by resolution dated November 8, 1993, this City Council directed the publication <br /> of notice of the intention of the City of San Marcos, Texas (the "City"), to authorize the issuance of <br /> certificates of obligation of the City in the maximum principal amount not exceeding $1,~00,000, for the <br /> public purpose of paying contractual obligations to be incurred for renovating and repairing existing <br />- municipal buildings (the "Certificates "), at the meeting of the City Council of said City to commence at <br /> 7:30 P.M. on January 10, 1994; <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council finds and determines that it is necessary and proper to postpone <br /> the date and time at which this City Council proposes to issue such certificates of obligation as hereinafter <br /> set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution has <br /> been considered and acted upon was open to the public and public notice of the time, place and subject <br /> of said meeting was given, all as required by Tex. Gov't Code Ann., ch. 551; Now, Therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS: <br /> Section 1. The statements contained in the preamble of this resolution are true and correct and <br /> are adopted as findings of fact hereby. { <br /> Section 2.
