RESOLUTION NO.2012 -16OR <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS ADOPTING GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR THE 2013 <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS FEDERAL POLICY PROGRAM; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City of San Marcos works with federal elected officials and federal agencies <br />on issues of importance to San Marcos for the development of infrastructure, transportation, <br />public safety, community development, economic development, education, and the protection of <br />environmental resources. <br />2. The City Council recognizes the need for an active federal policy program to <br />ensure that the interests of the City's residents and businesses are protected and enhanced and <br />wishes to establish guiding principles for this program. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Guiding Principles for the 2013 City of San Marcos Federal <br />Policy Program are hereby approved and adopted. <br />PART 2.
