<br /> 41 <br /> RESOLUTION 1994- 12R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> COMMERCIAL TO INDUSTRIAL FOR 0.82 ACRES OF, <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT 408 S. GUADALUPE STREET <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on November 30, 1993, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br /> co1ll1llissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing <br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br /> Plan from Commercial to Industrial for 0.82 acres of land, more or <br /> less out of the J.M. Veramendi Survey No. 1, Hays County, Texas, <br /> located at 408 S. Guadalupe Street; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br /> commissions did, on November 30, 1993, consider the request and <br /> voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be <br /> approved by the City Council of the city; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council held a public hearing on the day <br /> of , 1994, regarding the request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br /> public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> , <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br /> located at 408 S. Guadalupe Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, <br /> which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br /> Plan of the City of San Mårcos as Commercial shall be shown on that <br /> map as Industrial: <br /> FIELD NOTE DESCRIPTION <br /> OF <br /> 0.82 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS <br /> OUT OF THE <br /> J.M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO. 1 <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS <br /> BEING A PORTION OF THAT :2.19 ACRE TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED <br /> AS "FIRST TRACT" AS CONVEYED TO WILLIAM K. JACKSON, ET <br /> AL, BY BERNIE BOWDEN, ET AL, BY DEED DATED APRIL 21, <br /> 1980, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 341, pAGE 50, HAYS COUNTY <br /> DEED RECORDS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY <br /> METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:. <br /> BEGINNING at the most Northerly corner of the said <br /> Jackson 2.19 acre tract, for. the most Northerly corner of <br /> the tract herein described, same being at the <br /> intersection of the West line of Guadalupe Street with <br /> the Southeast line of the M.K.&T. Railroad; <br /> THENCE, leaving the said M.K.&T. Railroad, with the West <br /> line of the said Guadalupe street, S 080 30' E, 124.07 <br /> feet to the most Northerly corner of that 0.649 acre <br /> tract of land conveyed to Fred Hoffman Sons by William K. <br /> Jackson, et aI, by deed dated March 6,1981, and recorded <br /> in Volume 354, Page 527, H~ys County Deed Records, for <br /> the most Easterly Southeast corner of the tract herein <br /> described; <br />
