. s-' II II RIDER H - . Schedule I -. HARDWARE FUNCTIONALITY TEST After installation of the computer equipment at the library site (by DYNIX), a hardware quality test will be performed. This test must be conducted upon the completion of the computer equipment installation. Designated CITY p<:rsonnc:d must bè present for the test. Upon completion of this test, DYNIX has seven (7) calendar days to send written notice (certitied mail or confirmed telefacsimile) that in the opinion of DYNIX, the test has been successfully completed. THE CITY and DYNIX will judge when this test has been successfully p<:rformed. This test will include a minimum of the following tests: (a) C~ntral Processing Unit diagnostic test. (b) Memory unites) diagnostic test. (c) Disk storage/controller unites) diagnostic test. (Including the writing of a file to tap<:, the reading of a disk file, and the erasure of a disk tile.) (d) Magnetic tap<: drive unites) diagnostic test. (Including the writing of a file to tape, the reading of a file from tap<:. and the erasure of a tap<: tile.) (e) Alphanum~ric terminal unites) diagnostic test. (t) Line printer unites) diagnostic test. (Including a printer spray test.) (g) Local terminal printer unites) diagnostic test. (Including a printer spray test.) . (h) T elecomrnunications unites) diagnostic test. (i) Power loss/failure test. (j) T dxon diagnostic t~st. THE CITY will send notice to DYNIX after the successful completion of this test. THE CITY is obligated to pay invoices as p<:r Rider F when the above tests ar~ succ~ssfully completed. This examination must be successfully complt:tèd as a condition of Final System Acceptance. REl\ŒDIES: , In the event DYNIX is unable to pass the Hardware Functionality Test within thirty (30) days of first attempting the test, THE CITY may. at its option: (I) grant DYNIX further time to resolve the problem and accept the Equipment when all problems are resolved and the test is successfully passed; or (2) require DYNIX to provide an alternate equipment contiguration capable of passing the test. THE CITY shall be the sole judge of whether th~ r~vised delivery and installation schedules are acceptable; or (3) reject the System, rescind the DYNIX contract, and require DYNIX to refund all monies paid to DYNIX by THE CITY under this Agreement to date.
