We <br />also charge for our out-of-pocket expenses and overtime wages to secretaries <br />when the overtime is necessary to satisfy the client's demands. Out-of-pocket <br />expenses or overtime wages charged to the City will be based on our actual <br />costs. We endeavor to have a statement of services rendered and expenses <br />incurred in the mail by the 15th of each month and the statement is due and <br />payable within 30 days of receipt. <br /> <br />I will be the account representative and the attorney in charge. Carolyn <br />Ahrens will be associated with me in this matter, and you may contact her for <br />information or status reports should that become necessary. My time will be <br />billed at the rate of $140 per hour and Carolyn's time will be billed at the rate of <br />$125 per hour. From time to time, other attorneys may be assigned to some <br />aspect of the case, with the view that we will use the lowest hourly rate qualified <br />and available attorney for any particular matter. The monthly statement will list <br />the attorneys who worked on the project, the hourly billing rate of each, and a <br />description of the services performed, accompanied by the billing for such work. <br /> <br />It is the policy of our firm to adjust fees periodically to reflect current <br />economic conditions. We will notify you, in writing, if the fee structure is modified, <br />and advise you that our present rates will not be modified during next twelve <br />months. From time to time, we include a client's name in announcements, firm <br />resumes, legal directories, and newsletters. If you have any objections to our firm <br />using your name in this fashion, please let us know, and we will gladly respect <br />your wishes. <br /> <br />If this agreement is acceptable to you, please sign the duplicate original <br />herein and return it to us for our records.
